CLE: Personal Foundations of Professional Excellence in Law

Event Details

Professor Kevin Walsh (Madison Hon.) and Phi Delta Phi present a legal professionalism CLE, approved for 1 hour of ethics credit by the MCLE board, based on the Revolutionary War experiences of the pre-eminent exemplar of legal professionalism in the United States: John Marshall. The event is cosponsored by the Moot Court Board and the Trial Advocacy Board. There will be a reception following the CLE in the atrium of the law school, including food and drink. The format of the CLE will consist of a lecture of approximately 40 minutes and a question-and-answer session of approximately 20 minutes. There will be written materials consisting of slide handouts and Virginia's Principles of Professionalism. The presenter of the CLE will be Kevin Walsh, a professor at the University of Richmond School of Law who teaches and writes in the areas of federal jurisdiction, constitutional law, complex litigation, and professional responsibility.
