Paul S. Quinn, Jr (Cockrell '87), shareholder in the Orlando office of GrayRobinson P.A., has been recertified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in real estate law through 2015. He was originally board certified in 1995.

Board certification requires a written examination, peer review, substantial dedication to the practice area and additional continuing legal education requirements. Certified lawyers in real estate law deal with matters relating to real property transactions including, but not limited to, real estate conveyances, title searches, property transfers, zoning and land use planning, real estate development and financing, real estate litigation, and determination of property rights.

"Paul is a seasoned real estate specialist,” said GrayRobinson President Byrd F. "Biff” Marshall, Jr. "His interest to stay current in the field makes him an asset to our firm as well as the real estate practice in Florida.”

Quinn has handled all types of commercial real estate transactions through acquisition, financing, development and disposition. He specializes in real estate law and has extensive experience in residential and commercial transactions, leases, and liquor licensing law. He also represents clients in the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, golf courses and resorts in the surrounding area.

Since joining GrayRobinson in 1987, Quinn has been a part of several historical real estate projects including his contribution to the purchase of the 270-acre Lake Ruby property, which was chosen as the Orlando Business Journal’s overall Best Real Estate Deal of 2005. Quinn also represented GAI Consultants, Inc. in connection with one of downtown Orlando's largest office lease deals in recent history, which was named one of Orlando Business Journal's Best Real Estate Deals of 2008.

Quinn received his juris doctorate from the University of Florida College Of Law and his undergraduate degree from Duke University.
