Kim H. Vance reappointed to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council

Kim H. Vance (Cardozo '97), a shareholder in the Tampa office of GrayRobinson, P.A., has been reappointed to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council by Florida Governor Rick Scott. In this role, Vance will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including regional coordination, environmental management, emergency preparation plans, dispute resolution, and an overall commitment to preserving the future of the Tampa Bay region. Her term will end in October 2012.

Vance is board certified by The Florida Bar and primarily practices in the areas of banking and finance, litigation, and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. In addition, the "AV”- rated attorney is a certified civic circuit mediator, public accountant, and has been active throughout her career with the Hillsborough County Bar Association and Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar.
Outside of the office, Vance is a dedicated member of the community with memberships to various civic organizations including Boyscouts of America, Gulf Ridge Council Hispanic Outreach Committee, Key Club Liaison to Jesuit High School, and the Kiwanis Club.
She received her juris doctorate from Stetson University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida.
