Upon receipt of the duly executed Petition and supporting materials, the Executive Director will present the Petition for Charter to the Council of the Society for consideration. Normally, a decision will be made within five (5) business days provided that the submission is complete and in compliance with all constitutional requirements. The Executive Director will notify the Colony’s contact person as soon as a decision on the Petition has been reached. Upon approval of the Petition, the members of the new Inn should immediately hold an election for Inn Officers pursuant to Article VIII of the Fraternity’s Constitution and schedule a formal chartering and initiation ceremony.
