Troy A. Kishbaugh (Blackstone Inn '98), a shareholder in both the Fort Lauderdale and Orlando offices of GrayRobinson, P.A., has been appointed to The Florida Bar’s Health Law Certification Committee. In this role, Kishbaugh will contribute toward the goal of The Florida Bar Health Law Section, which is to provide a forum for communication and education, leading to the improvement and development of health law. Kishbaugh’s service in the committee will run from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2015.

"Troy has established himself as a leader in our health care practice group,” said GrayRobinson President Byrd F. "Biff” Marshall, Jr. "His appointment to the committee comes as no surprise due to his outstanding reputation in the industry and I’m confident he will be a valuable resource.”

With more than 12 years of experience, the board-certified attorney concentrates his practice in the area of health care law, which includes corporate law issues, Medicare/Medicaid fraud and abuse, false claims, billing and reimbursement, corporate compliance and daily hospital operational issues. Some of the clients he represents include various hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, diagnostic imaging centers, medical equipment suppliers, pharmacies and laser specialty centers.

The Super Lawyers-ranked attorney’s professional affiliations include memberships to the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. He is also past chair of The Florida Bar Health Law Section. In addition, he is heavily involved in civic organizations, such as the Florida Hospital Foundation Executive Council, the Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences Board of Trustees and the American Heart Association.

Kishbaugh received his juris doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and his undergraduate degree from Florida State University.
